New Dutch Action Thriller by NL Film ‘Full Moon’ Filmed in Thailand

Recently, filming was completed in Thailand for the Dutch action thriller Full Moon, the very first Dutch film to be entirely shot in Thailand. The film is produced by NL Film and is expected to be released in Dutch cinemas in early 2025 through distributor Searchers.

In Full Moon, four friends in their thirties go all out during a Thai vacation full of sex, drugs, and parties. After a wild 'Full Moon Party', the body of a young woman washes ashore, and the four best friends become the prime suspects. What was meant to be a carefree party vacation quickly turns into a gruesome nightmare. The four main roles are played by Yannick Jozefzoon (Femi, Santos), Kay Greidanus (Just Like in the Movies, Commandos), Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen (The Adulterer, Billy the Kid), and Joep Paddenburg (Jippie No More!, Tegendraads).

Brian De Vore (SpangaS, Misfit: The Series, Costa!! The Series) wrote the screenplay. The direction of Full Moon is in the hands of David Cocheret (The Slut of 6VWO, SpangaS).

Full Moon is produced by NL Film and is made possible by the Netherlands Film Production Incentive, Searchers, and Prime Video. The film is now in post-production and will be released in Dutch cinemas in 2025.
